Actually they did, but Valve decided that the game scope is not enough for an episodic game, so they moved from episodic model game to a full sequel (Half-Life 3) in 2010s and again cancelled because they also developing Source 2 which at that time isn't finished yet. Half-Life 2 wasn't as bad but still far from satisfying, with its weak weapons, ego stroking and weak story ā forced-fed through the infamous cutscenes that aren't cutscenes. I also forgot how boring the anti-climactic end is, with its super-gun of pwnage. And F.E.A.R. is still cool. Fans of Valveās iconic Half-Life series were excited to spot the sudden appearance of Half-Life 2: Remastered Collection on Steam this week. While sadly not an official Valve product, it is in Trn1aI7.
