The standard actuator opens somewhere around 3 or 3.5 psi but is pre-loaded to 4.5 psi. This means as boost ramps, the waste gate starts opening around 4.5 and the solenoid bleeds off boost from the actuator to control it, but there is a limit to how it can be controlled.

Hi guys does anyone know what the torque setting is for the pulley bolt..can't find it anywhere..had a look in the Haynes manual and it says 70nm then a further 60° is that rightjust seems a bit low..
It has been my experience that best handling will occur with TP above factory recommendation and that (especially on FWD cars) fronts should be way harder to get even wear. I have started with 45 psi front 30 rear cold based on the cars 60/40 weight bias. Weighed the car with me and 1/2 tank of fuel, 2040 front, 1340 rear, pretty close to 60/40.

So the exhaust manifold gasket and aero tight stud/nut kit finally arrived, as you see the old gasket is totally goosed, it fell out in like 4 pieces as I was removing the studs. The issue I’m having after removing the old bolts is that it left one stud in the head, can see the threads there.

So does any body have the manual (or know) the torque spec and is there a tightening sequence. Also what about the exhaust manifold torque spec and sequence.

It didn't mention the filter, but it said the sump plug should be torqued up to 23nm. So that's what I did. Now, on removing the filter housing and cleaning it up ready for refit, I noticed that it had, printed on it, the torque settings for it, and the sump plug. It said that the sump plug should be 10-11nm - less than half of what Haynes said.
